This webinar will cover the obligations for importers and manufactures of substances and mixtures within the EU market with a focus on the upcoming June deadline for mixtures under CLP. It will provide a brief summary of the CLP obligations and enforcement statistics related to authoring Safety Data Sheets and labels. It will coversome of the common issues faced when compiling SDS and labels such as undeclared components, confidentiality and Trade Secret legislation and small pack sizes. A summary of solutions and suggestions based on our professional experience will also be presented.The webinar will be held on March 6th 2015 and will be free of charge.

About the presenter
Dr. Darren Healy hasa depth of experience with GHS/CLP from as he previously worked as a Quality Associate for Coca-Cola; overseeing SDS generation for substances and mixtures in several geographies. Prior to this Darren worked on large-scale R&D and data management projects for several companies in the oil, gas and automotive industry such as Rolls-Royce and Renault. Darren holds a PhD in Chemistry from the National University of Ireland Galway; he also holds a diploma in Regulatory Affairs from ITT, Dublin.
