The K-REACH is Now Available in English

November 10th 2014, the Ministry of Environment (MoE) in Korea published an English version of the Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances (K-REACH). The Act includes 8 chapters and 54 articles.
The form of the K-REACH seems quite similar to that of EU REACH. However, the content details are somehow quite different due to the unique chemical regulation in Korea.
CIRS advises that enterprises that need to export their products into Korea follow the detail requirements in the K-REACH in order to make a full preparation for registration. And foreign companies can entrust qualified Only Representative (OR) with registration.
