China MEP: Public Consultation on the 30th Batch of Toxic Chemical Clearance Notifications in 2014

Original Article from CIRS

Recent days, 19 companies in China have submitted applications for toxic chemical clearance notifications to China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), and now a public consultation on the application has been issued.

China MEP has strictly checked those applications under The Measures for Environmental Administration of The First Import of Chemicals and The Import and Export of Toxic Chemicals, The Measures for Environmental Administration Registration of Toxic Chemicals and The Administration of Further Strengthening the Import of Toxic Chemicals in Trading Enterprises.

Enterprises wanting to import or export the substances on the list of restricted toxic chemicals, must apply for such environment management clearance notification, before they have any business operations in China.
