CIRS Europe and Dublin Chamber Joint Hosting Chinese Food Regulation Series

from CIRS by

On the 8th October, CIRS Europe will join with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce on hosting a free webinar on the topic of Chinese Food Regulations which apply to Pre-packaged General Foods.

This is the second time this year that a European association requested CIRS to provide training on Chinese food regulations. Dublin Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1783, is the largest and most influential B2B networking organisation in Dublin. It represents over 1,300 businesses throughout the greater Dublin region. CIRS Europe is delighted to work together with the Dublin Chamber on Asian regulation compliance.

Introduction

In line with many other countries, the Chinese authorities have introduced further regulations surrounding imported food due to concerns over safety, health, and nutrition.

These regulations apply to foreign exporters, as well as the products they supply, the ingredients they use in their products, and the content of their labels. It’s crucial that exporters entering the Chinese market for the first time assess not only the potential sales value but also the regulatory barriers they face.

Determining what regulations apply to your company, your products and how to comply with these regulations can be difficult and time-consuming. Failure to understand and comply with regulations can have costly repercussions.

Following the presentation from our specialist adviser, we will also have a Q&A section where we will answer questions directly from companies registered for this event.
