Dr David Wang Joins CIRS as its US Representative

March 8, 2010

CIRS are happy to announce that Dr David Wang joins CIRS as its US representative. Many companies in the US export chemical raw materials into the EU and China or trade chemicals between China and Europe. CIRS helps companies such as these to comply with the EU REACH Directive, EU Cosmetics Directive, Administration of New Chemical Substance in China and Administration of Import and Export of Cosmetics in China.

With a strong presence in China and EU, CIRS has built good connections with regulatory authorities in EU and China, who are two of the largest trading partners with the US. By setting up its representative office in Illinois, CIRS will be in a better position to deliver its cost-effective services to American companies especially small and medium sized chemical companies.

Dr. David Wang graduated from Peking University with B.S. (with Honors) in polymer science and a PhD from University of Maryland at College Park in organic chemistry. During his PhD study, Dr. Wang published many academic papers on top journals and had received many awards and scholarships including the Young Investigator Award (Division of Chemical Toxicology, ACS meeting 2009, Washington D.C.). Later he joined University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) as a researcher and his research was focused on the synthesis of anti-biotic. During his research, Dr. Wang has also studied GMP and GLP standards and other chemical legislation.
